Welcome to www.thebehaviour.vet, The Behaviour Vet’s (“TBV”) platform for veterinary behaviour consultations and courses for clients in India. This policy explains how we handle your personal data.
2. Information We Collect
Your contact details; your pet’s details and questionnaire answers; consultation recordings and clinical notes; payment records (card and UPI details stay with Razorpay); course progress; and sign-in data such as IP address.
3. Use of Collected Information
To provide our services, keep your pet’s records, take payments, send booking emails and meet legal obligations. An AI service may transcribe consultation audio to help the vet write notes.
4. Information Sharing
We neither sell, trade nor rent your personal information. We share it only with clinical staff at the specialist clinics in our group (as you agree at sign-up), with trusted providers who help run our services, with Google and Meta if you accept their cookies, and where the law requires. Our systems are hosted in India.
5. Data Security
We protect your data with encryption and restricted access, and keep it while your account exists unless you ask us to delete it.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Necessary cookies keep the website working. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google, Meta) are used only if you accept them in our banner; change this any time via Cookie settings in the footer. If accepted, we tell Google and Meta when an advert leads to a booking, without your personal details.
7. Third-Party Links
We are not liable for the privacy policies of other websites we link to.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our services are for users over 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
9. Your Choices
You can see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by contacting us. If unsatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
